Welcome to United Firewood LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using our website, purchasing our products, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or purchasing our products or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use our website or purchase our products/services.
3. Products & Services
3.1. Firewood Sales
- We sell ready-to-burn hardwood firewood (primarily oak), processed into 16″ pieces. Custom lengths available for an additional fee.
- Firewood is sold by the face cord (1/3 full cord).
- Maximum delivery is 5 face cords per order.
- Delivery includes dumping firewood as near as reasonably possible to your preferred stacking area. We do not offer stacking at this time.
3.2. Guarantee
- We offer a 48-hour firewood guarantee. If, after stacking (within 48 hours of delivery), the wood does not meet specified measurements (4’ tall x 8’ wide x 16” deep per face cord), we will re-deliver the difference at no additional cost.
- Notification of discrepancies must occur within 48 hours, and proof of measurement may be required. Stacking is done soley by the customer.
3.3. Delivery
- Delivery area is subject to availability and may be limited. Additional fees may apply for locations outside our standard delivery zone.
- We cannot guarantee exact placement, but will deliver as close as possible to your desired location, considering safety and property access.
- We are not responsible for damages to the lawn, driveway, or surrounding area if we are advised to navigate on said area by the customer.
- The customer will be responsible for all towing and recovery costs if applicable.
3.4. Custom Orders
- Custom-length firewood can be requested for an additional charge.
- Changes to orders must be made before processing and may not always be accommodated.
- All custom orders must pay a non-refundable custom setup fee (50% of the total cost of the order) prior to processing.
4. Orders & Payment
- All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
- Payment is due at the time of delivery unless otherwise agreed upon.
- We accept cash, checks, or other payment methods as specified on our website.
- Firewood will not be delivered until all fees are paid.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- Custom orders may be non-refundable once processing has begun.
- Please contact us promptly for cancellations or changes.
- All custom orders must pay a non-refundable custom setup fee (50% of the total cost of the order) before processing
6. User Conduct
You agree not to use our website or services for any unlawful purpose, to solicit others to perform or participate in unlawful acts, or to violate any regulations, rules, or laws.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of United Firewood LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use any content without our express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, United Firewood LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—nor for any damages related to loss of profits, data, or goodwill—arising from your use or inability to use our products, services, or website.
9. Warranty Disclaimer
Our website, products, and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that information on our website is error-free, current, or complete.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless United Firewood LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of our website, products, or violation of these Terms.
